Land Acknowledgement
It is with an inexpressible gratitude, we live, hike, love, harvest and are provided life from this beautiful and bountiful land we live on.
Terrain UL acknowledges that the land on which we live and do business on is the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.
We accede that the Anishinaabe Peoples are the traditional guardians of this land, the Ottawa River Watershed and tributaries.
We are committed to supporting our First Peoples and their communities in hopes of healing from, and reconciling the historical injustices, dishonoured treaties, oppression, and cultural genocide that colonization has brought.
We recognize that we cannot change the past, but we can try to heal together, by collaboratively working to effect change for our future.
We promise to continue to learn, educate, speak out for those who have no voice, and advocate for the land and the peoples who live on it.
